Partnering with Parents to Make Disciples

Our mission for kids from 0-18 is the same as broader church: together in the gospel, together for the gospel, to the glory of God.  Because we believe that Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children, our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside them in the discipleship process. We do this in many ways, through Sunday morning programing, weekly programming and events.

Student Minister

“Our desire is for students to have a place where they are accepted and experience authentic Gospel love as they go together in the Gospel, for the Gospel to the glory of God.”

Our Vision

Our vision for student ministry is simple: We want to train and equip students to become disciple-makers.  We don’t just want them to come to church every week, we want them to take the Gospel with them – into their schools, homes, on the bus, on the field, wherever they go.

Student Ministry Calendar

Middle School (MSM) Gathering

Sunday mornings, our middle school students meet in the youth room at 11:00 AM for a time of games, teaching, and small groups. We take the Scripture from our community group studies and spin it in a middle school way.  Our small groups are broken down by age/gender.  When a new student arrives, we will introduce them to their small group leader.

High School (HSM) Gathering

Our HSM, High School Ministry, gathers together Sunday evenings from 630-8:00PM in the youth building.  For the first thirty minutes, we connect in community over games and coffee.  We then transition into a time of discussion on the issues that currently fill the lives of high school students.  This time is very discussion and small group oriented.  We don’t want to simply “talk at” our high school students, we want to engage them in the conversations that are relevant to their faith in the modern day.

Serving with the Sharing Shed

We have been blessed with an amazing opportunity to serve with The Sharing Shed every first and third Wednesday of the month from 6:30-8:00PM.  All of our middle and high school students are welcome.  This is a great chance to serve families in our community by helping them pick out and load up furniture.  High school students may also help by going with our pick-up team to gather donations from surrounding areas (adults will be present).  Please wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty and comfortable tennis shoes.  The Sharing Shed is located directly behind the youth building.
